Postdoctoral Associate College Scholarship Information: West Lafayette


A College Scholarship Information postdoctoral research associate position is immediately available in a multidisciplinary research effort focusing on adult stem cells and their applications in regenerative medicine. One of the major foci of our dynamic research team is to investigate the molecular signals both from the extracellular matrix and within the stem cells that regulate cell fate choice, for example between self-renewal and differentiation, using satellite cells in the skeletal muscle as a model.

College Scholarship Information Applicants must have a Ph. D. or equivalent degree in a life science-related field with an established background in (mouse) genetics, molecular biology and cell culture. Experience with protein-protein interaction, protein-DNA interaction, viral-based construct design for gene overexpression and knockdown, and construction of bicistronic constructs for tracing gene expression is a plus. Salary will be commensurate with experience. Postgraduate Studentships College Scholarship Information


The College Scholarship Information are funded by a grant from EPSRC Programme "motivic invariants and categorification This is an interdisciplinary research group working in geometry and representation theory, students, members of the areas covered by the project:

the theory of Donaldson-Thomas of Calabi-Yau 3-folds and its generalizations;
Combination of theory and Donaldson-Thomas representations of algebras;
better presentation of the theory and
mathematical definitions of the conformal field theory.

The
College Scholarship Information students will be on projects in a range of aid work under the supervision of one of four investigators.

The studentships are attached to St Peters and Lincoln colleges.

The studentships include a basic stipend to cover living expenses, and tuition and college fees at the Home/EU level. Overseas students (non EU) may also apply for the studentships, but will be responsible for making up the difference (currently £9,250 per year) between Home/EU fees and Overseas fees themselves

ECBA College Scholarships Information in Law

College Scholarships Information The purpose of the ECBA Scholarship is to provide financial assistance to residents of Erie, Pennsylvania who are entering their second or third year at an ABA accredited law school. You may complete the on-line application or request an application from the Erie County Bar Association, 302 West Ninth Street, Erie, Pennsylvania 16502, (814) 459-3111. Announcements of the availability of the scholarship are made annually.

Applications must be completed and College Scholarships Information returned to the Erie County Bar Association by June 30 of each year. Second year recipients of a scholarship must reapply as they enter their third year, following the same procedures.

The ECBA Scholarship Committee reviews all College Scholarships Information applications, basing their evaluation on numerous factors including financial need. The Scholarship Committee is composed of members of the Erie County Bar Association.

Eligibility Erie County, Pennsylvania residents who have been accepted to, or who are currently enrolled in, accredited law schools are eligible to apply for the scholarship. Awards may be granted to students entering their first year of law school. Assuming the availability of funds, and provided that the student maintains a satisfactory academic record, the scholarship may be renewable during their law school career.
